Three Ways to Cancel an Order
If circumstances arise, where you wish to cancel your SCOTSY order, you have three options:
- Requesting cancellation by emailing your Artist using their email address on the Artist’s Store Page.
- Using the “Inquiry” button on the Artist’s Store Page.
- Use the “Enquiry/Ask the Artist” button on the Product Page.
Importantly, if the item has not been dispatched it is simply a matter of you getting a refund.
However, if dispatch has occurred then it will be necessary for you to return the item.
Your proof of dispatch will be required for its return.
You have a maximum of 14 days from receipt to advise you are returning the artwork otherwise, you will need to negotiate with your Artist. Please also refer to their Refund Policy listed on the Artist Store Page > Policies scotsy.com web page.
Alternatively, you may claim a refund with Scotsy Admin by following the Refunds procedure: https://scotsy.com/art-buyer-refunds/. This will then be subject to Scotsy Admin’s discretion, in consultation with the Artist, etc.
Distance Selling Legislation
We will adhere to the distance selling legislation and provide a full refund up to 14 days after receiving the goods if you change your mind for any reason.
However, some items may be exempt, such as personalised items and the like.
